Recipe groups

Plan your week, or any set of meals, and turn it into one shopping list.

What a recipe group is

A recipe group collects meals you cook together, like this week's dinners or a party menu – each with its own servings and sides. Greezy turns it into one shopping list with everything added up.

Your family sees and edits your groups, and you theirs.

Create a recipe group

  1. Open “Recipe Groups” and press “Add Group”.
  2. Give it a “Group Name”, like “Week 12”.
  3. Press “Add Recipe” and tap a recipe. Add the others the same way.
  4. Press “Save”.
Good to know
  • A group needs at least one recipe, and a side for every placeholder.
  • Standard accounts keep up to 2 recipe groups of their own.

Servings and notes

Set each recipe's servings with + and −. “Label / Notes” takes a note, like “Monday” or “for the kids”.

Side dishes in a group

A recipe with room for sides shows a field for each placeholder. Tap it to pick a side dish, and tap it again to change it.

From a group to a shopping list

Under “Recipe Groups”, “Create list” turns a group into a new shopping list. “Shop now” puts it on a temporary list to order right away.

Good to know
  • To add a group to a list you already have, open the list and use “Add Group to List”.

Cook from a group

The flame next to a recipe's name opens it for cooking, with the group's servings and the side dishes picked for it.

Change or delete a group

Tap a group to open it, change what you like and press “Save”. The bin next to a recipe takes it out.

“Delete” at the bottom, or the bin on its card, deletes the group. Its recipes stay.

Good to know
  • Someone left your family? Their recipes leave with them: take them out of your groups to save those again.
