Importing recipes
Bring recipes from Picnic, Chefkoch, HelloFresh, Knuspr, Lidl and Pinterest into your collection.
How importing works
- Open “Import” under “Recipes” and pick a source at the top.
- Search, or pick a category.
- Tick the recipes you want.
- Press the import button at the bottom. Each recipe becomes yours, with its ingredients, steps and picture.
- “Imported”: it's in your recipes now; “Open” opens it.
- “Already in your recipes”: you imported it before.
- The import didn't work; the message says why.
- Importing recipes comes with a PRO account.
Picnic
The Picnic tab needs your Picnic login, or one a family member shares with you. It shows the recipes saved in that Picnic account, and you can search Picnic's cookbook or browse its categories.
- Pantry staples like salt and oil come in marked “Optional”, and the recipes get the tag “Picnic”.
Chefkoch
Search Chefkoch or browse its categories – no account needed. Paid Chefkoch Plus recipes aren't offered.
HelloFresh
Search HelloFresh or pick a collection – no account needed. Recipes come for 2 servings, and what HelloFresh doesn't deliver, like salt and oil, is marked “Optional”.
Knuspr
Search Knuspr's recipes, or browse them by dish, cuisine or occasion – no account needed.
Lidl
Search Lidl's recipes, or browse them by meal, diet, cuisine, theme or kitchen machine – no account needed.
- Some recipes are written for Lidl's Monsieur Cuisine kitchen machine. Their tile names it, and they get the tag “Monsieur-Cuisine”.
- Enter a Pinterest name (like “chefkochde”) or paste a link to a profile or board, and press “Show boards”.
- Pick a board.
- Tick the pins you want and import them.
- Greezy imports the recipe page a pin links to. Pins without one can't be imported.
- Greezy only sees public boards, and of large boards just some of the pins – a different selection each time.
After importing
Give your new recipes a quick look: check the units, add your tags and, for main dishes, room for side dishes. They're yours now, so changes don't touch the original.
