Getting started
What Greezy does, how to sign up and how to find your way around.
What Greezy does
Greezy keeps your recipes and turns them into shopping lists – with everything added up, ready to order.
- Write recipes or import them from websites and recipe services
- Plan meals in recipe groups, like a week of dinners
- Get one shopping list with every amount added up
- Tick off what goes into your cart in the store, also together with your family
- Order at Picnic, Flotte Karotte, Ökullus, dm, flaschenpost and REWE
- Share with your family, or with anyone by link
- Greezy never pays for you: you always finish the order at the shop.
- Accounts are PRO or PRO AI accounts, with every feature, or standard accounts, with a few limits.
Your first steps
- Create an account with “Sign up”.
- Add your first recipe under “Recipes” with “Add Recipe”, or import a few under “Import”.
- Plan some meals: under “Recipe Groups”, “Add Group” starts a recipe group.
- Turn the group into a shopping list with “Create list”.
- Connect a shop under “Integrations”, in the menu behind the round person icon at the top right.
- Open your list, press “Order”, pick products and send them to the shop.
Create an account
- Choose “Sign up” on the start page or the sign-in page.
- Enter your name, your e-mail address and a password. Others see your name; you can change it later.
- Press “Create account” – and you're in.
- Use an e-mail address you can read: your sign-in codes go there.
- If new accounts need an admin's approval, the page says so. Greezy e-mails you as soon as you can sign in.
- Choose “Login” at the top right.
- Enter your e-mail address and password and press “Sign in”.
- Enter the six-digit code Greezy e-mails you and press “Confirm”. Added a passkey? Press “Use passkey” instead and confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
- No code? Look in your spam folder, or press “Send a new code”. A code works for 10 minutes.
- Opened a link to a page of Greezy while signed out? Once you're signed in, Greezy takes you there.
- Greezy keeps you signed in on this device for about 30 days, unless you sign out.
Sign in with a passkey
Added a passkey to your account? Then you sign in without your e-mail address, password or a code.
- Choose “Login” at the top right.
- Press “Sign in with a passkey”. Or tap the e-mail field: many browsers offer your passkey there.
- Confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
- Passkey on your phone, but you're on a computer? Many browsers show a QR code after “Sign in with a passkey”: scan it with your phone.
- No passkey at hand? Sign in with your e-mail address and password.
Forgot your password?
- On the sign-in page, choose “Forgot password?”.
- Enter your e-mail address and press “Send link”.
- Open the link in the e-mail within an hour, choose a new password and press “Save password”.
- Your new password signs you out on your other devices.
- Signed up with Google? This is also how you get a password.
Saving your changes
Greezy doesn't save recipes, groups and lists by itself. Once you change something, the bar at the bottom offers “Save” and “Discard”.
- “Save” stays grey until something has changed and every field is filled in correctly. Fields that need a look turn red.
- Leaving with unsaved changes? Greezy asks first.
- “Delete” in the same bar deletes the whole recipe, group or list – after asking you.
Help on every page
The question mark next to a title explains that page, or the part next to it. From there, you get to the whole guide.
Know your way around? Turn off “Show Help” in your settings to hide the question marks. The help center stays in the menu as “Help & FAQ”.
- Opens the help for what's next to it.
- The assistant in Greezy and AI assistants you connect read this help too – just ask them how something works.
When Greezy gets an update
After an update, Greezy shows a notice with “Reload now”. Save your work first, then reload whenever it suits you.
A page that can't open right after an update, for example one you open without reception, reloads by itself as soon as Greezy answers again.
